MakinTrax Offer a Pre Wedding consultation with the happy couple, Parents, Planners, Event Managers. This will take place up to two weeks before the happy day. This allows us to arrange the music to suit the day, the breakfast, reception, and the evening celebrations. Also allowing you to ask for some special tunes to hear during your day. We can plan your first dance, that most memorable time as you celebrate your love for each other. If you have a particular track in mind it gives MakinTrax time to source it for you. If it's a bit obscure, like track 5 from an old album then it gives us time to update the format or copy it for playing on our professional equipment.

Also a little tip, when you send out your invites include a slip for your guest to include a track that makes them want to dance, then during the evening the DJ can work the tunes into the play time, making sure that the dance floor stays full for the whole night. When planning your first dance also plan a second dance, where you the happy couple go and "grab" a friend each to join you on the dance floor, then half way through the tune go and "grab" another couple and so it goes on and on, the dance floor is filled and no one gets embarrassed about being the first couple up after your special dance.

You already spent some time browsing around our website you will know that it is our goal to provide you with the quality a service and ultimate reliability you will need during the planning and also on the big day of your function, during the evening, it's the music that really does the talking. The music policy of MakinTrax has evolved with our experience. We will endeavour to play all your requests subject only to the limitations of playing time. If you want to leave the choice to us, we'll be happy to judge the mood on the night. MakinTrax DJs are well versed in 'reading a crowd' and are there to play for you and your guests, not for themselves!

We will check your list against our library of over 20,000 songs. can we suggest that your play list contains a maximum of 10 'I must have that tune played', 10 'I haven't heard that in a while' and 5 'please do not play' to give us a guide. Please can you supply your requests at least 4 weeks before your day. This gives us time to source any tracks we need to obtain (must be available on current UK release). You of course will be notified in the unlikely event of one of your prioritised songs not being available.

Our DJ will of course play your own CDs for those real rarities! The DJ will also accommodate other requests on the night if possible, with the maxim in mind, "if I've got it I'll try to fit it in" ensuring that no-one goes home disappointed.
